UP police snatches blankets and foods of anti-CAA protesters at Lucknow’s clock tower

A video has been surfaced on social media of Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow where police snatched the blankets, utensils and food items of anti-CAA protesters residents, at the clock tower. After the video went viral '#KAMBALCHOR_UPPOLICE' became one of the top trends on Twitter. Inspired by Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, around 50 women along with their children were protesting against CAA and NRC. Domestic helper attempts to suicide after man rapes her in Assam

In Charaideo district of Assam, a woman attempted to commit suicide after a man raped her. The woman was a domestic helper at the accused’s house. The victim’s family claimed that she tried to commit suicide by consuming poison. Post-incident, she was taken to a near hospital. Rape accused should be punished within 6 months, says Arvind Kejriwal

After the verdict of 2012 Nirbhaya and 2013 Gudiya gang-rape murder case, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed that rape accused should be punished within 6 months. Kejriwal tweeted and said that it took seven years to get justice. The country needed to correct this system and if they want to ensure that no one misbehaves with anyone sister or daughters than the country needs to develop a system which ensured that culprits are punished within six months, he added.
