Uber would not charge more than 1.5 times extra during Odd-Even: Delhi Transport Minister

Delhi will start having Winter Odd- Even Vehicle Motor rule and there is a new information added in the rule that Uber would not surge more than 1.5 during Odd-Even rule. According to a media reports, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said that they had a meeting with Uber, and they have warned the cab operators that there should be no discrimination. Uber has committed to them that they will not permit more than 1.5 the regular fare. Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena has demanded an immediate ban on Bigg Boss 13 and alleged that the show is against the Indian culture. As per media reports, the Karni Sena has written a letter to the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar, regarding the same. Indian Boxer Jamuna Boro made it to quarter finals of World Women’s Boxing Championships

Indian Boxer Jamuna Boro whose representing India at World Women’s Boxing Championships is just one win away to be World Boxing Champion. Boro had made her debut with this year championship. Boro had defeated Algeria's 2017 African Championships gold medallist Ouidad Sfouh to reach the quarter-finals of 54kg boxing championship. She will now play her quarter-final clash on Thursday. India moves down 10 places to 68th on global competitiveness index

India has moved down 10 places to 68th rank on an annual global competitiveness index by Geneva-based World Economic Forum (WEF), due to improvements witnessed by several other economies, while Singapore has replaced the United States as the world's most competitive economy. As per media reports, India is among the worst-performing BRICS nations along with Brazil which is on 71st rank. The WEF stated that India ranks high in terms of macroeconomic stability and market size, while its financial sector is relatively deep and stable despite the high delinquency rate, which contributes to weakening the soundness of its banking system.
