NASA set to send New VIPER Lunar Rover to Map Water Ice on the Moon

NASA is set to send a mobile robot to the South Pole of the Moon that will help to get a close-up view of the location and concentration of water ice in the region and for the first time ever, NASA will sample the water ice at the same pole where the first woman and next man will land in 2024 under the Artemis program. The VIPER mission will give NASA the surface-level detail of where the water is and how much is accessible for use. The discovery will help in taking a step closer towards NASA’s ultimate goal of a sustainable, long-term presence on the Moon – making it possible to eventually explore Mars and beyond. Diwali to be observed in US as a reminder of religious liberty: Donald Trump
