FM Nirmala Sitharaman announces measures to boost economy

Today, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced several measures to boost the housing and export sector. As per media reports, the few key announcements made by the Finance Minister are as follows, "India to hold annual mega shopping festivals like Dubai Shopping Festival to boost exports, Govt to cut turnaround time in ports and airports via use of technology, Govt to enable handicrafts industry to effectively harness e-commerce for export, Special Rs 10,000 Cr window to extend funding to finish incomplete housing projects, Rs 10,000 Cr to be contributed by Govt and roughly same amount from outside investors, The special window will be provided funding to net-worth positive housing projects (non-NPA and non-NCLT projects) in affordable and middle-income category". Mumbai: Tuition teacher tells 13-yr-old he wants to have sex with her

Recently a 42-year-old tuition teacher had committed a horrible sin of asking to have sex with his own 13-year-old student. On September 11 the tuition teacher asked one of the students to come to his cabin and passed explicit sexual comments on her. He took it further and asked her that he wanted to have sex with her. Anil Pophale, the Police official from Powai police station said, ”We have produced him (the accused) before a Sessions court and were granted his police custody. West Bengal: LGBTQ community celebrates one year of decriminalising Section 377

In West Bengal's Siliguri district, more than a hundred members of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) of the Black Rose Society celebrated one year anniversary of the Supreme Court's verdict on Section 377, which lifted a ban on homosexual sex. As per media reports, the members were seen dressed in bright coloured clothes and dancing on the roads. LGBTQ community Chairperson, Souvik Alo Ghoshal, expressed, "We are taking out a rally today which will end at stadium gate of the city. We are celebrating the Supreme Court's verdict which came last year. We want the identity crisis prevailing in the country to end. Also, we are raising our voice against violence in our community". Nine lakh youth in Pune benefited from Mudra scheme: Prakash Javadekar

Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar, after the first meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) in Pune, expressed, "Meeting of DISHA are held to plan for the schemes and monitor their execution. Mudra scheme is making quick progress in the district and 9 lakh youths from the district have been allotted loans worth Rs 8,000 Cr under it. Out of 58 Railway Stations in Pune division, 46 have been equipped with wifi facility. 5 Escalators too have been installed".
