We put fear of law into hearts of criminals: Uttar Pradesh DGP OP Singh

Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP), OP Singh, while speaking about the law and order situation in the state, stated, "We put the fear of law into the hearts of gangs and criminals in each district not only raiding their houses but engaging them upfront". Singh further said that maintenance of law and order had gone haywire, criminal activities were on the rise. The UP police took stock of the situation and chose to mount a forceful stance towards criminals and gangs. "In the past two years, we have rounded up around 10,000 criminals and using Section 14 (1) of the Gangster Act, we seized property worth Rs 197 Cr of these mafia dons. Gujarat: Sub-inspector suspended for making traffic violators do sit-ups

In Gujarat, a police sub-inspector, identified as Manoj Damor has been suspended after he allegedly made three traffic rule violators do sit-ups on road. As per police official, the three people were riding on the roof of a car. To mark his 69th birthday, PM Modi walks around the Sardar Sarovar dam site, visits a cactus garden in Narmada district and releases fluttering butterflies from a basket into to butterfly garden in Kevadiya. The Minister performed multiple activities from taking safari rides on a jeep to visiting cactus gardens.
