Maharashtra govt to provide television, internet access at Coronavirus isolation centers

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that they have decided to provide television, food, internet access, carom boards, and other facilities at coronavirus isolation centers. He further added, "People should not worry but come together to fight against spreading coronavirus." The total number of positive cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra has now reached 39. Amid Coronavirus, govt bans entry of passengers from Afghanistan, Philippines & Malaysia

The government recently stated that it has imposed a ban on the entry of passengers from Afghanistan, Philippines and Malaysia to India with immediate effect, according to an additional travel advisory. This instruction is a temporary measure and shall be in force till March 31 and will be reviewed subsequently. 22-year-old girl from Guwahati held captive, raped for three days in UP’s Kanpur

Four people have been booked by the Uttar Pradesh Police for raping and holding a 22-year-old woman captive for three days in the city’s posh locality. The crime came to light when the survivor managed to flee from the spot and later managed to reach the police. According to the police, the affected woman was kept in a hotel on Saturday and was taken to a bungalow in the city’s posh locality on Sunday. OYO offers to turn hotels into quarantine centres amid Coronavirus outbreak

As the government fights to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic, OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwal has started discussions to offer its network of hotels as quarantine centers for suspected Covid-19 cases as well as those who have to compulsorily self-isolate themselves. The suggestion came from a Twitter user who said OYO should tie-up with the government to offer its hotels as backup quarantine centers.
