Amid massive protests, Hong Kong Govt expected to declare weekend curfew

According to media reports, Hong Kong might announce weekend curfew since it has witnessed large scale violent protests in its universities and authorities have been struggling to control the student-led demonstrations that have been going on for 6 months now. There were clashes between students and authorities throughout the week as protesters set up barricades while students set up blockades of major roads, including the entrance to the cross-harbor tunnel that links Hong Kong island to the Kowloon area. Facebook removes 11.6 million posts related to child nudity and sexual abuse

Facebook in Community Guideline Enforcement Report has claimed that the company has removed around 11.6 million posts which held content showing child nudity and child sexual abuse from the main Facebook platform and around 754,000 from the its subsidiary Instagram’s platform. Facebook also mentioned in the report that it took action against the harmful content which encourages self-harm or suicide, drug sales, arms sales and terrorism propaganda. Moody's further reduces India's estimated GDP to 5.6% for 2019

Moody's Investors Service on Thursday has further cut India's economic growth forecast for the current year to 5.6% from 5.8% estimated earlier, saying GDP slowdown is lasting longer than formerly expected. It was earlier expected that economic activity would pick up in 2020 and 2021 to 6.6% and 6.7%, however, the pace remained lower in the recent past. ISRO to reattempt soft landing in November, 2020 through the Chandrayaan-3 mission

According to the reports the ISRO is planning to reattempt a soft landing on the south pole of the moon in next year’s November through Chandrayaan-3 mission. The organization attempted a soft landing on the untouched side of the lunar surface on September 7 but lost communication with the ‘Vikram’ lander before the landing. The organization has formed a high-level committee headed by S.
