Railway services in the Kashmir valley likely to resume from November 11

Train services are expected to resume in the Kashmir Valley from 11 November. Jammu and Kashmir govt issued a statement saying that Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan has ordered the railways authorities to conduct a track inspection within three days, followed by a trial on 10 November and a resumption of services on 11 November. Jammu and Kashmir: Thousands of youth participate in SPOs recruitment drive in Poonch

In Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, thousands of youth participated in a Special Police Officers (SPOs) recruitment drive. As per a senior police officer, around 6,800 candidates have applied from all over the district. As per media reports, participants thanked the govt for conducting the recruitment drive. South Kashmir: J&K Administration Procures 1.34 Lakh Apple Boxes

Under the Marketing Intervention Scheme (MIS) under the department of Horticulture, The Jammu and Kashmir administration has procured around 1.34 lakh boxes of apple from fruit growers in south Kashmir and Rs. 2.50 crores have been paid to fruit growers, officials said. Officials have also distributed 19 irrigation pumps and 20 tube wells worth Rs. 3.23 lakh to the orchard owners and emphasis is being laid on high-density plantation. 20% students attending schools in Kashmir, 100% in Jammu: Govt

Jammu and Kashmir's administration in its report stated that 20% of students in Kashmir and 100% in Jammu have started attending schools and there is no restriction on the movement of people anywhere in Jammu and Kashmir. The officials added that also 86.3% of teachers in Kashmir and 100% in Jammu are attending schools till Friday. It included that around 21,328 schools in Jammu and Kashmir have started functioning.
