Donald Trump threatens WHO of halting funds, calls it biased towards China

President Donald Trump threatened World Health Organisation to cut US funding, accusing it of being biased towards China during the coronavirus pandemic. Trump told to the media that he will put a pause on funding to WHO, the UN body whose biggest funding source is the United States. "We're going to put a hold on money spent to the WHO," said Trump. Referring to UN's recommendation against US's action to curtail travel from China, Trump said "why such a faulty recommendation..fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on". Wuhan revokes lockdown after China reports less new cases

After three months of Coronavirus outbreak in China, resulting to a lockdown in the country, on Wednesday finally Wuhan uplifted its lockdown, the city where the world’s first coronavirus case emerged.  This decision was taken after only three new cases were reported in past three weeks and a day after China reported no new deaths for the first time since January. Twitter CEO Dorsey donates 28% of his wealth to fight Coronavirus

The 43-year-old is the chief executive of both Twitter and Square, Jack Dorsey has pledged to donate 28% of his wealth, summing $1 billion to relief fund to fight coronavirus. He made the announcement on Twitter, writing that the "needs are increasingly urgent". Mr Dorsey did not revealed where will the funds would be sent to help. No new Covid-19 deaths reported in China, for the first time since Jan

No new case of Coronavirus deaths was reported in China on Tuesday for the first time since it started publishing figures in January, the National Health Commission said. The cases in mainland China have been slowed down since March, but the country is facing new infections brought in by foreigners, with health officials reporting nearly 1,000 imported cases in total.
