"Congratulations Modi Ji. Excellent Press conference!" - Rahul Gandhi took a dig at PM Modi

Congress president Rahul Gandhi tweeted "Congratulations Modi Ji. Excellent Press Conference! Showing up is half the battle. Next time Mr Shah may even allow you to answer a couple of questions. Well done!" The tweet was on the reference as PM Modi, in a press conference took no questions as Amit Shah kept replying to questions and said that the question has been answered and the PM need not answer queries on everything. However, PM Modi expressed confidence about coming back to power with an increased majority.

"Will take action against Pragya Thakur" - BJP served a show cause notice over her Godse remark

PM Modi said that Pragya Thakur's comments made about Gandhi Ji or Nathuram Godse were detrimental to society and will never be able to forgive her. BJP president Amit Shah holding a press conference with the PM Modi said that the party had served Thakur a show cause notice and asked her to reply within 10 days. The party's disciplinary committee will take appropriate action after she files a reply.

"Might contest from Amethi, in case party president wins both the seats" - Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that in case party president Rahul Gandhi wins both the seats he is contesting in the Lok Sabha elections, one of which is the family's traditional stronghold then she might contest from Amethi. When asked if she was ready to accept the task of contesting for the Amethi, Priyanka said: "It's not a challenge". Priyanka further added, "The decision will be taken after my brother decides to leave one of the seats, that discussion will happen then".

The fight was about protecting all the institution like Supreme Court, RBI, that makes this great country and give a voice to people". Gandhi further said "We have given a Decent battle.
