Sukhoi-30 and Rafale seen scaling skies in Indian Air Force’s New Year video

The Indian Air Force summed up the challenges faced by a soldier in a video tweeted through its official Twitter handle to send New Year wishes to the people. The video shows Sukhoi-30 and Rafale fighter jets of the Indian Air Force roaring through the skies. The voice-over narration in the video is heard saying- “Love for the nation turns fear into passion and enthusiasm to defeat enemies.” and “a soldier has a falcon's eye, a lion's heart and strength like that of the mighty Himalayas”, which totally define the soldiers of the Indian Air Force. Indian Air Force inducts flight inspection system aircraft Dornier

According to a statement issued by the Center, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria has officially inducted the indigenous light utility aircraft Dornier into the Number 41 ‘Otters’ Squadron of the Indian Air Force. The Dornier aircraft is manufactured by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and it is a multi-purpose, fuel-efficient and tough-standing and light flight inspection system aircraft. PM Modi's new aircraft to be flown by IAF pilots

Two custom-made B777 planes, which will be used to fly PM Modi and other top Indian dignitaries from July 2020, will be operated by Indian Air Force's (IAF) pilots. However, the planes will be maintained by Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL). Presently, the PM, President Ram Nath Kovind, and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu fly on Air India's B747, which have the call sign 'Air India One'. France: IAF receives first Rafale combat aircraft

In France's Bordeaux city, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has received the first Rafale combat aircraft at the Dassault Aviation manufacturing facility. As per IAF sources, the first aircraft with tail number RB-01 has been received by a team of IAF officers led by Air Marshal VR Chaudhary. The sources further said that as per Rs 60,000 Cr signed between India and France, the first aircraft was scheduled to deliver in acceptance mode to the Indian side and it will now undergo trials and tests for another seven months more in France. The reports added that the planes would now officially be inducted on October 8 into the IAF when Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visits France but the planes would start arriving in India only in 2020 after validation of the India Specific Enhancements and training of pilots and personnel.
