Farooq Abdullah releases INR 1 Crore from his Funds to check spread of Coronavirus in J&K

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah released an amount of INR 1 crore from his MPLAD fund to fight the spread of Coronavirus in the state. His party-National Conference spokesperson said the party president and Srinagar MP released amount today to combat the threat. Case filed against Maharashtra couple for hiding travel to Thailand, placed in quarantine

The police have reported that a case has been registered against a couple in Maharashtra's Jalgaon after they allegedly didn't inform authorities about their trip to Thailand. Upon being tracked down by a survey team, the couple said they had only been to their son's place in Pune. The couple has been quarantined and their swab samples have been sent for testing. People with history of foreign travel have been advised to remain under mandatory quarantine due to possible exposure to Coronavirus, irrespective of whether they show any symptoms of the infection. Due to dip in revenues during COVID-19 outbreak, Air India to cut employee allowances

According to media reports, Air India has recently informed its employees that the carrier is witnessing an "insurmountable" dip in its revenues amid the coronavirus outbreak. The airline said it was consequently undertaking cost-cutting measures, including reducing allowances for all employees, except cabin crew, by 10% for three months. Postpone all journeys: Railway Ministry after 12 passengers test positive for COVID-19

In a tweet today, the Ministry of Railways has appealed to the public to postpone all journeys after at least 12 passengers who travelled in trains tested positive for Coronavirus pandemic. The tweet said, "Railways has found some cases of coronavirus infected passengers in trains which makes train travel risky.
