246 elephants died in Odisha in last 3 years: Odisha govt

Odisha Forest and Environment Minister Bikram Keshari, while speaking in the State Assembly, stated that between 2016-17 and 2018-19, a total of 246 elephants had died due to the accidents, electrocution, natural and other causes in Odisha in the last three years. Arukh further said that the state govt has taken several steps to protect elephants including setting up jumbo reserves at Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, and Mahanadi to conserve their prime habitats and the govt has also launched various management interventions. Centre is confused, has no clarity on Jammu and Kashmir: Iltija Mufti

Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti, while speaking on the issue of foreign envoy's visit to J&K, stated first the Central govt said Kashmir is an internal problem and then they themselves bring envoys. But when other envoys want to visit then Centre says this is the country's internal issue. Iltija further said that she thinks the govt is very confused, they themselves have no clarity. 35 people evacuated from Coronavirus-hit China return to AP after quarantine ends

35 people hailing from Andhra Pradesh, who were evacuated from the Coronavirus-hit China, have returned to their state after their 14-day quarantine period ended from a quarantine facility in Delhi. Earlier this year, they had arrived in Delhi on special Air India flights which were sent to China's Wuhan city as part of the evacuation operations conducted by the Indian govt.
