Haryana govt orders to shut kindergarten classes in private schools

Haryana govt has issued orders to shut nursery, lower kindergarten (LKG) and upper kindergarten (UKG) classes in private schools across the state. Rohtak's Elementary Education Officer, Vijay Laxmi, expressed that children should get plentiful time to play and develop rationally. Thus, the state govt took this initiative. Laxmi further said that children below five years of age can go to an Anganwadi or playschool where they learn while playing. Haryana govt introduces ‘Dial 100’ to help women at night

After the brutal rape and murder of Dr. Priyanka Reddy in Hyderabad, Haryana Government has introduced ‘Dial 100’ for women who needs help at late night or unable find taxi to reach home. The Chandigarh police website read if a woman needs help then she can call on the PCR number and the team will send a vehicle to drop them home safely. Haryana Municipal Corporation alongwith 2 dhabas offers free meal in exchange of plastic

With governments and activists taking different steps to curb the plastic menace, Janata Bhojanalaya and Hunda Ram Ji Ka Shudha Vaishno Dhaba of Hisar in Haryana have also taken an initiative in which one can get a wholesome meal against 20 empty plastic bottles. The city’s municipal corporation has tied up with these dhabas for the same. Though it was launched 45 days ago, the dhaba has seen only one customer with 20 plastic bottles for the free meal. Haryana: Ambala administration on high alert following a rise in dengue cases

After the rapid increase in dengue cases in Haryana’s Ambala city, the administration is on a high alert in the city. Dr. Ponam Jain, Civil Surgeon, stated that over the past few days, 222 confirmed dengue cases have been reported and out of these 222 cases, two people have lost their lives. Poonam further said that the State Administration and Govt Authorities are attempting to reduce the risk of the disease and are raising awareness among individuals about the preventive measures to tackle the disease.
