Ahead of Chandrayaan 2's soft landing on the surface of the moon, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Thursday posted a humorous message on Twitter in which the spacecraft's Lunar Orbiter was wishing the Lander ahead of the landing. "It was great travelling with you Vikram. I hope you reach the South Pole soon," the Lunar Orbiter says while releasing Lander Vikram. SC to examine validity of UAPA amendments that allow Govt to pronounce an individual a terrorist

The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the Center following a plea against the amendments to the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), that allows the government to declare an individual as a terrorist. The court will examine the Constitutional validity of the amended law. Previously, only organisations could be categorized as terrorist groups. Activist Sajal Awasthi, who filed the petition, said that the law is against fundamental rights and violates the rights of an individual. The new amendments also permit the Center to impose a travel ban on individuals declared terrorists, and seize their properties. Do you think this law will infringe fundamental rights of Indian citizens? Src:https://bit.ly/2klPzv6
