3 JeM terrorists held in J&K with AK-56, ak-47 rifles

In Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, the police have arrested three Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists and recovered four AK-56, two AK-47 rifles, six rifle magazines and 180 live rounds from their possession. A senior police officer stated that after receiving information, the team conducted a search operation and seized a truck which was on the way to Kashmir from Punjab carrying Rs 11,000 cash. The officer added, “However, this will be too early to say if these arms and ammunitions were a part of any terror design”. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC. In Uttar Pradesh's Amethi, the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, in an interview, stated, "The Army is always ready for the action in PoK. Karnataka: Dalits dragged out of their homes, thrashed with iron rods for refusing to dig grave

In Karnataka's Bengaluru city, some members of the Dalit community were thrashed by upper-caste men after they refused to work for them. As per media reports, the incident occurred after the Dalits refused to dig up a grave for the burial of an upper-caste man family member. The reports further stated that around nine people have been hospitalised. As per eyewitness, around 30 upper-caste men barged into the victims home and dragged them out and assaulted them with iron rods in front of the public. Even women weren't spared as they were thrown into the sewage drains. The police have arrested two men and are looking out for others who took part in this brutal assault. Jharkhand: PM Modi launches monthly pension schemes for marginalized farmers and others

Ahead of Jharkhand Assembly elections, PM Modi has launched government-funded projects & schemes in the state. Under the 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana', the farmers aged between 18-40 years after touching 60 years can avail Rs. 3,000 monthly. As many as 1,16,183 farmers have already registered. A similar scheme was also launched by Modi named 'Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyaparik Mandhan Yojana' and 'Swarojgar' scheme under which beneficiaries between 18-40 years can avail rs. 3,000 monthly after crossing 60 years of age. 462 Eklavya model residential schools across the country were also launched by PM Modi.
