Surbhi Karwa, who topped the Master of Laws at the National Law University, Delhi on Saturday remained absent from the convocation ceremony, where she was to receive a gold medal from CJI Ranjan Gogoi. She remained absent to mark her protest over the Supreme Court's handling of the sexual harassment allegations against Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi. Karwa said,"Everything I learnt in the classroom put me in a moral quandary over the last few weeks on whether I should receive the award from CJI Gogoi. Bengaluru: Drunk driver rams car into 7 pedestrians; video surfaces

In Bengaluru's HSR Layout, a driver drove over a footpath and hit seven pedestrians. The police stated that the driver was drunk and lost control of the car. The force of the impact flung people in the air. According to the media reports, two of the injured people are in critical condition while five people have sustained minor injuries and were discharged from the hospital.
