Andhra Woman walks 60 km to marry her boyfriend in neighbouring village

A woman identified as Chitikala Bhavani in Andhra Pradesh walked a distance of 60 kilometres to marry her boyfriend Sai Punnayya, who lived near her village. Bhavani and Punnaya, who have been together for four years and their parents were not happy with them. However, when everything was ready to set their plan in motion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced lockdown for 21 days amid the coronavirus outbreak. Kerala homeless man waves away cops approaching him with food, ensures social distancing

A touching video of three policemen in Kerala offering food to a homeless man, while the latter tries to ensure social distancing in times of coronavirus has surfaced online. The video shows the three policemen entering a bylane where they spot a man lying in front of a shop. As one of them moves forward, the latter stops him, draws a circle with a stone and asks him to leave the food there. Centre: We need 1 crore HCQ tablets in immediate future, we have 3.28 crore tablets

Health Ministry on Friday said that Hydroxychloroquine need for India in the immediate future is nearly 1 crore tablets amid the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the country. "I would like to update that even after exporting, we have a reserve supply of 3.28 crore tablets for our immediate need," it further said. BSP Chief Mayawati will not attend anti-CAA meeting by Congress

After West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee denied to attend the anti-CAA meeting conducted by Congress, BSP chief Mayawati today declared that her party will not attend the meeting as well. Mayawati tweeted and explained that her party workers were not happy with the action of Congress in Rajasthan where some BSP MLAs joined Congress.
