CRPF jawan arrested in Odisha's Puri involved in minor's gang-rape

A CRPF jawan has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the minor's gang-rape that took place 6 days ago in Odisha's Puri. As per the police, CRPF jawan has been identified as Bulu Barik. The police further said that they have already arrested three accused and Barik is the fourth accused to be arrested. Earlier on December 2, the minor girl was raped by four people at a residential quarter of Puri Police. A Lucknow girl alleges rape, consumes poison

In Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow, a teenage girl consumed poison after allegedly being raped in Kakauli village in Madiyaon area. As per media reports, the girl was rushed to the trauma cantre and her condition is stated to be out of danger. Crime against women matter of great concern, says Venkaiah Naidu

The newly formed government in Maharashtra led by Shiv Sena won hearts after Sena leader and CM Uddhav Thackeray decided to put a stay on the felling of trees in the Aarey forest and release the activists who were detained during the protest.
