While addressing a press conference, Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj, the treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust said that Ram Temple will be ready within 3 and half years. He said that the Akshardham Temple was built in three years, the Statue of Unity was constructed within three years, then they are also thinking that in three to three-and-a-half years. Domestic air passenger traffic up by 2.20% in January 2020: DGCA

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has stated that in January 2020, passengers carried by domestic airlines were 127,83 lakhs compared to 125,08 lakhs in the corresponding period of the previous year, showing annual growth of 2.20% and monthly growth of 2.20%. As per the traffic data submitted by various domestic airlines for January 2020, due to the end of the tourist season, the passenger load factor in that month had shown a declining trend compared to the previous month. Pak High Commission issues visas to Indian pilgrims to visit Katas Raj temples

The Pakistan High Commission has issued visas to a group of Indian Hindu pilgrims for visiting Katas Raj temples in Chakwal city of Pakistan's Punjab province. The Pak High Commission, in a statement, stated that the group will be visiting the renowned temple compound of Katas temples between February 19 to February 25. The statement added that Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines (1974) governs reciprocal visits by Indian and Pakistani pilgrims to designated shrines in Pakistan and India. Telangana Congress protest against Centre over quota in job promotion

The Committee of the Telangana Pradesh Congress staged a protest against the Central Govt for allegedly wanting to abolish the country's quota system. In an interview, Congress leader Sampath Kumar stated that Congress will fight against this RSS and BJP ideology. Kumar further said the Center is trying to eliminate the country's SC, ST, and OBC quotas and this is against the Constitution. Earlier on February 7, the Supreme Court ruled that reservation in promotions for govt jobs is not a fundamental right and stated that states can not be required to provide promotions to members of the SC / ST communities.
