"There will be no relationship with those who talk of dividing the nation" Shiv Sena to PM Modi

Hailing PM Narendra Modi for strongly rebutting those talking about the separation of Jammu & Kashmir from the country, the Shiv Sena said that he must commit that the PDP, NC, and the NCP won't be part of the NDA after elections even if it is short on numbers. Sena further added that " there will be no relationship with those who talk of dividing the nation. And those who have ruined three generations of Kashmiris will not get a place in Modi's cabinet or the NDA".

"Kaam Ruke Na, Desh Jhuke Na" - BJP's another campaign slogan

In an attempt to focus on its development agenda, the BJP will shortly unveil another campaign slogan, perhaps as early as this week itself. The new slogan will underline that much work remains to be completed, and there should be continuity in the government. This would help focus the campaign on some of the party's promises such as a pucca house to everyone, or interest-free loans of up Rs 1 lakh on Kisan credit cards, which are work-in-progress and need a stable government.

Both NDA and UPA will not get a clear win..Mayawati and Mamata will have to be brought together: Deve Gowda.

Former PM Deve Gowda while interacting with private media spoke about the political dynamics for ongoing election. On being asked if he saw a loose coalition of opposition parties form a next govt?, Gowda replied, “It is difficult for Modi to return back at centre easily. Neither NDA or UPA will get a clear majority.. there will be regrouping after Polls. Mayawati is saying, ‘I am not going with the Congress or BJP’… Mamata Banerjee is also taking a hard decision. In these circumstances, they will all have to be brought together after the polls. If that is done, then the coalition will be a success".
