Pune: Notice to remove advertisement featuring PM Modi from public places

In Maharashtra's Pune district, ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Pune Deputy Collector has issued a notice to remove advertisement featuring PM Modi from multiple public spaces. As per media reports, in a letter, Pune Deputy Collector and convener for model code of conduct, Surekha Mane issued a notice to remove the posters from petrol pumps and also mentioned to remove the govt advertisements from railway stations, bus stands, and ST buses. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief K Sivan, while addressing the 8th convocation of IIT Bhubneshwar, stated, "There are some questions. In what way Gaganyaan is going to be useful? Gaganyaan is extremely important for India as it will boost the science and technology capability of the country". Shivan further said that by December 2020, ISRO will have the first unmanned mission of human spacecraft and the second unmanned human spacecraft, the organisation is targeting for July 2021. Confident of winning all seats in upcoming bye-polls: Captain Amarinder Singh

Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh, while addressing a press conference, stated that the Congress party will easily win all four seats. Singh further said that the party is fully geared to contest the upcoming by-elections, at the back of the govt's progressive and welfare programmes and schemes. He further slammed the opposition and said, "The people of Punjab would once again put their seal of electoral approval on the Congress, which during its last two and half years of governance in the state has proved that it was the only party equipped to ensure the development of Punjab. Same as the recent Lok Sabha elections, the people of the state would once again reject the regressive and divisive politics of the opposition parties".
