UP Police pastes photographs of stone-pelters on posters to get public help to find them

The UP police decided to adopt a new plan to catch the miscreants and the people who encouraged violence during the ongoing protests in the state against the CAA that have turned violent. In the Gorakhpur district of UP, the police officials pasted posters with the photos of the alleged stone-pelters on the walls of the buildings. The police also urged the locals to help locate these miscreants and assured that the identity of whosoever helps to find the stone-pelters will be kept closed and they will also be rewarded by the police. Complaint filed against Farhan Akhtar for his tweet against Citizenship Act & NRC

Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar who was one of the first celebrities to raise his voice against the Citizenship Act has become a victim as a complaint has been filed against his tweet on CAA. Farhan's Tweet was an elaborate explanation of CAB and NRC along with the date and venue of a protest in Mumbai. Railway property worth INR 88 crore damaged across India in CAA protests

Indian Railway official informed that during the Citizenship Amendment Act protests, railway property worth INR 88 crore has been damaged across India. According to reports, property worth INR 72 crores have been damaged in Eastern zone, 13 crores in the South Eastern zone, 3 crores worth was damaged in a North-East Frontier zone. Earlier, Union Minister Railway Suresh Angadi had warned the concerned district administration and railway authorities that if anybody destroyed the public property then shoot them at sight. Death toll during UP Anti-CAA protest rises to 11, including an 8-year-old boy

In Uttar Pradesh, violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act have turned into a nightmare after death toll rises to 11 people, including an 8-year-old who has lost their lives. As per the official report from police, six people were killed in the clash between police and protesters after Friday prayers.
