Villagers chop off noses of a man and a woman for allegedly having an affair

According to reports, villagers of Kand Pipra in Faizabad chopped off the noses of a man and a woman after they suspected that they were having an affair. The woman's husband wasn't at home as he worked in Saudi Arabia. The man (28) had visited the 35-year-old woman's home when her father-in-law and other people caught them and chopped off their noses. The police have arrested the woman's father-in-law and others involved in the incident and a police force has been deployed at the village to maintain peace between the Hindu and Muslim communities to which the two belonged. 63 sheep found dead in Malpur Tatera village of UP in one night

According to media reports, 63 sheep were found dead in Malpur Tatera village of Uttar Pradesh. All the 63 sheep had died on Tuesday night under mysterious circumstances. There were no injury marks on the dead sheep, thus it is clear that they were not attacked by a wild animal. The carcasses of the sheep have been sent for postmortem to ascertain the cause of death. GoAir joins IndiGo, Air India and SpiceJet in banning Kunal Kamra from flying

After IndiGo Airlines, Air India, and SpiceJet, Go Air also barred comedian Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline until further notice in the wake of the onboard IndiGo flight incident where Kamra accosted journalist Arnab Goswami and also made a video thereof. As per the media reports, the three airlines have said that Kamra's conduct onboard was unacceptable behaviour. Cabinet approves Medical Termination of Pregnancy (Amendment) Bill, 2020

The Union Cabinet has approved the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (Amendment) Bill, 2020 to increase the upper limit for legally terminating pregnancy from the earlier 20 weeks to 24 weeks. In an interview, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said there was a demand from a group of women, doctors, and the court also asked for the same.
