Minor girl gets beaten up, and braid chopped off for allegedly talking to a boy in MP

India is not a safe country for women, it has been proved by a recent incident in which a minor girl was brutally beaten up and her braid was chopped off by her family members over the mere suspicion that she had been speaking to a boy over a phone. As per the media reports, the woman was defamed publically whereas neighbours played the role of mute spectators, with no one coming forward to save the girl. Src: https://bit.ly/2uFuFfo
