Madhya Pradesh: Girl refuses to kiss a school friend, pays with her life

In Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district, an 18-year-old girl was killed after she refused to be kissed by a 19-year-old boy (school friend). As per media reports, the police recovered the body of the victim from the nearby field. The accused has been identified as Raman Singh Sayyam, who allegedly confessed to the crime during the investigation and has been arrested. According to the accused, after the victim refused to kiss him, the accused pushed the victim who fell on the stones and became unconscious. Later he ran away after seeing the girl’s body motionless. BJP is confident of India's win at UNHRC on Jammu and Kashmir

The BJP, facing the litmus test over Jammu and Kashmir at the United Nation Human Rights Council (UNHRC), is confident that the global council will value India's situation against Pakistan's reiteration. BJP MP and head of Public Policy Research Centre, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, expressed, "Parliament passed a resolution with near unanimity that backed India's decision (to abrogate Article 370). The mind-set of the country is with the govt. So when the matter will be taken at UNHRC, India's consistent voice will be appropriately taken cognizance of and India's situation of Kashmir will be appreciated by the global community". He further assured that India's position won't change at the UNHRC and Kashmir is an unavoidable part of India and the decision to abrogate Article 370 is an internal matter and will continue at UNHRC. Chandrayaan-2's Vikram Lander found in 'a single piece' and in a 'tilted position': ISRO officials

In Karnataka's Bengaluru city, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) pursuing to set up communication with Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander, which is lying on the lunar surface after a hard-landing. An ISRO official stated, "It has a hard-landing very close to the planned (touch-down) site as per the images sent by the on-board camera of the orbiter. The lander is there as a single piece, not broken into pieces. It's in a tilted position". The official further said that the ISRO team is making efforts to see whether communication can be restored with the lander and the team is at work at ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC). Former DRDO scientist identified as A Sivathanu Pillai has recently claimed that "India will be able to set up a factory on Moon to process huge reserves of precious raw material and bring the extracted Helium-3 to Earth."
