Nirbhaya convict Akshay’s wife says ‘I will kill myself’, faints outside Patiala court

Only 15 hours ahead of the hanging of Nirbhaya rape and murder case, wife of one of the convicts, Akshay Kumar Singh fainted and later threatened to kill herself outside Patiala House Court. After gaining consciousness, Akshay’s wife started beating herself with a slipper and said, "I don't want to live. I will kill myself." Former CJI Ranjan Gogoi takes oath in Rajya Sabha, opposition parties walk out

Earlier today, Former Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi took oath as a Member of the Rajya Sabha. He was nominated to the Upper House by President Ram Nath Kovind. Congress, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Communist Party of India, DMK, and MDMK opposed Gogoi’s appointment by walking out of the Rajya Sabha. Union Health Ministry says Coronavirus vaccine will take at least 1.5 to 2 years to come

The Union Health Ministry recently stated that the vaccine for the treatment of Coronavirus will take minimum 1.5 to 2 years to develop. Health ministry also requested people to not panic while asking them to maintain effective social distance as protection against coronavirus.
