Man asked to marry off minor daughter to atone for accidentally killing a calf in MP

Recently a bizarre incident took place in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha district, in which a man who accidentally killed a calf a few months ago was all set to marry his minor daughter to atone for his crime, as ordered by the panchayat. A man killed 19-yr-old daughter after doubting her 'character'

A man identified as Santosh Diwan (42) has allegedly killed his 19-year-old daughter identified as Sulochana Diwan after being suspicious of her 'character' and objecting to her use of mobile phone in Mahasamund district situated in Chhattisgarh. As per the media reports, Sulochana Diwan was found dead, with multiple head injuries, near a drain in Kanekera area on the city's outskirts on February 1. loudspeakers will be banned from 3 Days before exams, says WB Pollution Control Board

The West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) on Saturday has taken an initiative to help the students study and banned the use of loudspeakers in residential areas and around schools in view of secondary and higher secondary examinations in the state. As per the media reports, the secondary (Madhyamik) examination will be held from February 18 to 27, while the higher secondary (Uchha Madhyamik) examination from March 12 to 27.
