The Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) stated that the action taken by four airlines imposing a ban on Kunal Kamra was fully in line with the requirements of civil aviation and that a news article misquoted/misrepresented the facts stated by DGCA. It further specified that the matter will be referred to internal committees as defined in paragraph 6.1 of Section-3, Series M Part VI, of the said Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR) on the handling of unruly passengers. Recently, the flying ban was imposed after Kamra heckled journalist Arnab Goswami during an IndiGo flight and made a video of it. Src: https://bit.ly/2U5hUoC
