Uttar Pradesh: Nepal border sealed ahead of Ayodhya verdict

Ahead of the verdict of the Supreme Court today in the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute, the Uttar Pradesh-Nepal border has been sealed following a meeting of top officials with CM Yogi Adityanath. Avinash Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary for Home, said that no one without proper identification will be allowed to move along the border. Rajasthan: Internet services temporarily suspended, section 144 imposed in Jaisalmer

Ahead of the verdict of the Supreme Court today in the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute, the Bharatpur Divisional Commissioner issued a letter in which he ordered a 24-hour internet suspension from 6 AM IST today. This includes 2G, 3G, 4G data internet services and a suspension of WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, and all other social media by internet service providers. Apart from this, the district's schools and colleges will remain closed. Section 144 of the CrPC has also been implemented in Jaisalmer in order to maintain law and order. Ayodhya verdict: Section 144 imposed in Bhopal, educational institutions to remain close

District Magistrate (DM) Tarun Kumar Pithode has expressed that Section 144, which restricts gathering of more than four people, has been imposed in the Bhopal district ahead of the Supreme Court's verdict on Ayodhya-Babri Masjid land dispute.
