Govt to create 1 lakh tonnes of onion buffer stock in 2020

Recently it was confirmed by the media reports that the government will create a buffer stock of 1 lakh tonnes of onions in 2020 in order to prevent the onion crisis. A senior government official had said that the government had created a buffer stock of as much as 56,000 tonnes for the current year but it wasn't sufficient hence the government was compelled to import through state-run MMTC. Govt launches portal for Delhi-NCR residents to block stolen phones

Recently the Government has launched a web portal for Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad residents to request tracing and blocking their stolen or lost phones. The portal will also facilitate traceability data with police authorities and unblock the recovered/found mobile phones which were lost or stolen. CAA will be implemented at any cost, says Union Minister G Kishan Reddy
