Sonbhadra Update: Three-member of TMC delegations arrested by Varanasi police

In Babatpur, three-member Parliamentary delegations including Derek O'Brien of Trinamool Congress (TMC) have been detained by Varanasi police at Lal Bhadur Shashtri International Airport. Derek O'Brian stated that they came to meet the injured in hospital and empathize the grieving families but were stopped by the police. Later, three-member started 'Dharna' inside the airport. Derek further stated that police officers refused to give any reason for their detention. The revenue of fashion retailer koovs registers 8.6% increase in FY19

Online fashion retailer Koovs Plc. reported an 8.6% increase in revenue to Rs 59 crore in FY19 according to the company's annual report. Koovs’ total net loss for the year ended 31 March 2019 was Rs 137.9 crore as its operating expenses grew 12% to Rs 123.2 crore and gross order value stood at Rs 117.8 crore down 6%. Google settles age-bias claims by job seekers for $11 million

Google has agreed to pay $ 11 million to end a lawsuit which accused the company of discriminating older job applicants and being age-bias. The company has to pay more than 35000$ to 227 people who joined the action. The settlement also directs Alphabet Inc. parent company of Google to train employees and managers about age bias and create a committee focusing on age diversity in recruiting and ensure complaints are adequately investigated. UP Govt stopping families to meet me: Priyanka Gandhi in Sonbhadra

Congress UP General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was finally allowed to meet the families of those affected in Sonbhadra firing case at Chunar Guest House where she is currently detained. Priyanka in an interview stated that two relatives of victims had come to meet her, 15 others were not allowed too. Even she wasn't allowed to meet them. Priyanka addressing media said, "The govt should protect the family of victims of Sonbhadra firing case. When the episode took place the govt should have helped the victims.
