"If you ask people to disclose the identity of a donor then I am afraid that cash system will be back" : Arun Jaitley over Electoral Bonds.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley defended the Electoral Bonds, he explained if the whereabouts of the donors will be revealed then there would be a risk of cash system getting back because in 2018 the government brought in the electoral scheme as an alternative to cash donation to political parties for their efforts to bring transparency in political funding for which only the banks knew the names of the donor.

While talking to media, Finance Minister Arun Jaitely said the BJP has cleaned the corrupted system & institutions which was there during Congress party. He further assured that PM will be re- elected as PM because his leadership is tried and tested. Cornering Congress he said that BJP has done various reformation like GST, IBC, Adhar Card and other monetory policies.

The Congress Party met Election Commission of India on Monday to seek a hold on the release of Biopic PM Modi. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely defended the Movie saying that It comes under Freedom of Speech, he argued when TV channels and other media can influence the voters, why can't a movie? The Congress alleged the Biopic contains Political propaganda of BJP and it’s release during the time of election is violation of Model Code of Conduct. The film’s release is preponed to April 5, a week before first phase of election.

Arun Jaitely terms Rahul's Minimum Income Scheme as ‘Biggest Bluff’.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely on Monday hit out at Congress on their recently announced ‘ Minimum Income Scheme’ which assures amount rs. 72,000 annually to poor. Jaitely said, “If tested on simple arithmetic then rs. 72,000 is less than 2/3rd of the existing DBT under Modi govt, which averages rs. 1.068 lakh annually. So Congress claims are ‘A Bluff Announcement'.. He accused Congress party for Betraying India for more than Seven decades.
