Bengaluru: The city Airport to construct roads using plastic waste

Recently the Bengaluru International Airport has launched its new initiative to curb the plastic pollution. Media reports suggested that the initiative '#PlasticBeku' campaign under which the authority will collect plastic waste and use it to build roads in the airport campus. Over this matter, Tom Shimmin, Chief Project Officer, said that “Eliminating the irresponsible use of plastic is one among BIAL’s many sustainable initiatives.
