After Surat and Rajkot, Ahmedabad reports positive COVID-19 case

Ahmedabad has reported the third positive COVID-19 case today after two positive COVID-19 cases in Gujarat's Rajkot and Surat respectively. As per media reports, a 22-year-old woman in Ahmedabad had returned from New York on Sunday. And before boarding the flight, she had met a friend in New York who tested positive for COVID-19. According to the sources, on Thursday night the woman was transferred to SVP Hospital's isolation ward. COVID-19: 11 international flights cancelled from Madurai

The Indian aviation industry has been affected in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak nationwide. Today, due to lack of passengers, as many as eleven international flights from Madurai city of Tamil Nadu have been cancelled. As per media reports, these flights had been scheduled for Dubai, Singapore, Chennai, Sri Lanka, and Hyderabad. Bodies of all four Nirbhaya convicts taken to hospital for post mortem

After the four Nirbhaya convicts were hanged at 05:00 IST at Tihar Jail in Delhi, the bodies have been sent to a hospital for a post-mortem. According to an official, the bodies were sent at 08:20 IST to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital. Tihar Jail Director General Sandeep Goel, in an interview, stated that after the post-mortem the bodies will be handed over to the families. Goel further said, however, the families will have to give a written undertaking that they will not be making a public demonstration of the executed person's cremation or burial.
