Modi government cuts increments for senior ISRO staff

Recently it was confirmed that the scientists and engineers at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have suffered the pay cuts with the Central government deciding to discontinue 'additional' increments'. The reason behind this is said that it will cause dissatisfaction across the ranks of the country's space research organization. Pune: 15-year-old girl beaten to death for talking to boy in her village

Recently the media reports have claimed that a 15-year-old schoolgirl, identified as Ashwini Potfode was beaten till death by her mother’s partner Ganesh Kharat at Nimsakhar village situated in Pune. As per the police officials, it was mentioned that “In the evening, he (Ganesh) brutally beat up the girl with a stick, leaving her critically injured. Recently the Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari has said that the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act was created to create fear and respect for the law. In his own words, he said, "It isn't a revenue making proposal but a proposal to save lives. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh, while addressing a press conference, expressed, "We are very close to normalcy. If you take the entire region into account, all 10 districts of Jammu have become entirely normal, all school, colleges, and offices are open. Leh and Kargil are also normal, there is no restriction of any kind there". Singh further said that more than 90% areas are free of restrictions and 100% telephone exchanges are working now.
