Six cases registered over rumour-mongering, probe is in advanced stages: Delhi Police

In an interview, Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava stated that as many as six cases have been reported and the investigation is in advanced stages with respect to the rumor-mongering in Delhi. Shrivastava further said some anti-nationals and miscreants want to spread the rumor about disrupting Delhi's peace. The Delhi Police want to inform the Delhi people that whenever they receive unconfirmed riot reports or any disturbance, they have to check these reports from the Central Police Control Room for which the police are advertising.
