70% refugees are Dalit, those opposing CAA are anti-Dalit, says Amit Shah

Recently the Home Minister Amit Shah has referred the people who are opposing Citizenship (Amendment) Act as an anti-Dalit. As per the media reports, the Home Minister has said that nearly 70% of the refugees are Dalits. He has asked a question to the protesters that what will they get from protesting against these Dalits? Home Minister Amit Shah will sign an INR 600 crore rehabilitation package for Bru resettlement in Tripura. The signing of the agreement will affect the lives of over 34,000 Brus who had settled in Tripura after several the fled ethnic cleansing in Mizoram in 1997. Land rights for the displaced Brus will also be part of the agreement.
