Amit Shah redefined Kashmir’s domicile rules after 8 months of abrogation of article 370

After 8 months Centre scrapped Jammu and Kashmir’s special status, the government has reworked domicile rules for the union territory and ordered that only people who fulfil the criteria are eligible to be appointed to junior posts in the bureaucracy and the constabulary. The domicile rule would apply for recruitment to all posts that come with a basic salary of INR 25,500. Ensure safety of doctors facing harassment amid COVID-19: Amit Shah to Delhi Police

Officials reported that amid the COVID-19 outbreak, Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday asked Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava to ensure the security of doctors facing harassment. His directive came after a representation was sent to him regarding the incidents of harassment of doctors by landlords. Doctors were asked to vacate after some people alleged that COVID-19 could be transmitted through them. Amit Shah says no documents needed for NPR & nobody will be classified doubtful

In a recent statement by Home Minister Amit Shah, he said that no document would have to be submitted for the NPR or National Population Register and no one will be declared "D" (doubtful). In a recent discussion at the parliament, he even discussed Delhi violence and why they choose to discuss it after the festival of Holi.
