ISRO to launch geo imagening satellite on March 5

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced that Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F10) will launch an imaging satellite (GISAT-1) from the SDSC-SHAR's second launch pad, Sriharikota, on March 05, 2020. ISRO further said that the launch is scheduled at 17:43 IST, subject to weather conditions. GISAT-1 will facilitate, under cloud-free conditions, the almost real-time observation of the Indian subcontinent at frequent intervals, it added. Src: https://bit.ly/3caw5j5

Poet Imran Pratapgarhi booked for provocative remarks on Shaheen Bagh in Hyderabad

Police have registered a case against the famous poet Imran Pratapgarhi in Telangana's city of Hyderabad for his statement asking why there was no Shaheen Bagh in Hyderabad. As per the police, the complaint has been registered by Sub-Inspector S Guruswamy, who was on duty at the QQ Stadium of February 24 where an "Ehtaji Mishaira" against the CAA, NRC, and NPR was conducted. The police added that, while addressing the meeting, Pratapgarhi stated that "Mujhe hairath hai us Hyderabad mein koi Shaheen Bagh kyu nahi hai". which is provocative and may cause fear to any section of the public. Gulam Nabi Azad condemns Delhi violence, says Centre is not paying attention to it

No mosque damaged in Delhi's Ashok Vihar: Delhi Police

In an interview, the Delhi Police countered the rumors that a mosque in the Ashok Vihar area of Delhi has been damaged, stating that no such incident has occurred. The North-West District Deputy Police Commissioner stated that some false information regarding the incident had been circulated. The commissioner further requested that false information not be distributed. Areas of Delhi have been in the throes of communal violence since Monday, with at least 13 people losing their lives and more than 180 injuries sustained, including the police.
