Lockdown causing strain on economy but essential to contain Coronavirus: AIIMS Chief

AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria told to the private media that India is lucky to not have skyrocketed the covid-19 cases. He also revealed that the team of doctors are looking at containment of disease and to upscale the health facilities. It is the time when private sector and public sector heath facilities should come together to support each other, he added. Further talking about Community transmission, Dr. Guleria said that community transmission cannot be avoided, it has started now but when everyone will open up to travel, the infection will be carry forwarded. 7-year-old Syed Anis from Chennai donates all his saving to help migrant workers

A heartwarming incident took place in Chennai where a 7-year-old boy named Syed Anis donate all of his savings amounting to Rs 845. The incident came into lights when he wrote a letter to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. Anis said he wants to help thousands of migrant workers walking to their homes without food and those who are starving on roads. 315 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in India in a single day

In a sharp increase of Coronavirus cases, on Tuesday 82 new cases were reported from Maharashtra where as Tamil Nadu recorded 57 and other 7 states recorded new cases, nearly doubling the previous day's record. The total cases in India have reached to 1618 and the number of deaths have reached to 52 so far. Nobody needs to fear CAA, says Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray after meeting PM Modi

Recently Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has met the Indian PM Narendra Modi and said that PM Modi has promised that there will not be a nationwide exercise to make people prove their citizenship through a National Register of Citizens or NRC. He said that they have discussed the CAA, NRC and NPR (National Population Register) and there is no need to fear the CAA.
