Kochi: A flyover built for Rs 47cr mere 3 yrs ago develops cracks

It was recently confirmed that the flyover on the National High Way 66 in Palarivattom was closed for general traffic. The reason behind this is said to be major cracks, which were seen in its pillars and girders. Built-in the year 2016 with a cost of Rs 47.7 crore, is now set to be demolished. Media reported that a new bridge will be built under the supervision of 'Metro Man' E Sreedharan, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Monday. ONGC fined with Rs 2.05 crore for pollution norms violation by Pollution Control Board of Assam (PCBA)

Recently it was confirmed that the Pollution Control Board of Assam (PCBA) has slammed India’s largest company Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) with a fine of Rs 2,04,90,000. The reason behind this is said to be failing to adhere to pollution control norms. "It was reported...that there's no mobile ETP for treatment of the effluent of waste pits," PCBA claimed. Bihar: A school gets washed away in Ganga River in Katihar

Recently a school was washed away in Ganga River in Katihar due to heavy water rush. No teacher or student was present at the time of the incident, as it was informed by the media reports. It has also claimed that the Education Department had interpreted the situation and suspended classes at the premises & shifted children to another school, earlier. Surat: a baker to make 700-foot-long cake on PM Modi's birthday
