19 arrested for pelting stones at police during anti-CAA protest in UP's Azamgarh

In Uttar Pradesh's Azamgarh district, the police have arrested around 19 people including the main conspirator Maulana Tahir Madani, National General Secretary of Ulema Council, for allegedly pelting stones at the police during an anti-CAA protest. The police have also announced a reward of INR 25,000 on the three main absconders identified as Nurul Hoda, Mirza Shane Alam, and Osama (leaders of the Ulema council). As per a senior police officer, section 144 is in force in the district. When police tried to disperse some women and children who were gathered to protest, some rowdies pelted stones. JNU student arrested for sexually harassing a female student in campus

The police have arrested a Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student for allegedly sexually harassing a female student inside the campus. The accused has been identified as Raghvendra Mishra. The victim, in her complaint, stated that the accused had called her in his hostel room and harassed her. Later, she raised an alarm, following which the campus' security guards apprehended him. UNESCO adds Hyderabad in the list of ‘creative cities’ along with Mumbai.

Mumbai and Hyderabad were selected in the list of creative cities among the 66 urban settlements by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on Thursday. Mumbai was selected for its contribution in the world of films, and Hyderabad for cuisine. Chandrayaan-2 detects noble gas isotope from altitude of 100 km

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced that the Chandra's Atmospheric Composition Explorer-2 (CHASE-2) payload aboard the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter has detected Argon-40 from an altitude of approximately 100 km, capturing the day-night variations of the Moon.
