Uttar Pradesh: Case registered against Azam Khan's wife and two sons

In Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district, the police have registered a case against Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan's wife ‘Tajeen Fatima’ and two sons ‘Abdullah Azam Khan and Adeeb Azam Khan’ for allegedly encroaching upon govt land. According to the police, Azam Khan’s Humsafar Resort is encroaching on govt land. Earlier, two cases were registered under section 477 (criminal trespass) and 184 (Obstructing sale of property offered by the authority of public servant). Odisha: Special squad visit schools to check bag's weight

In Odisha's Bhubneshwar, following up on the state High Court’s order, the special squads of Khordha district administration visited several schools to monitor the implementation of Ministry of Human Resource Development's (MHRD) guidelines on the weight of school bags. Block Education Officer, Snikdha Misra expressed, "During the inspection, we checked the weight of bags in different schools. The parents should also check their children's school bags' weight and adjust it according to the MHRD guidelines". As per MHRD guidelines, the maximum weight of the school bag for students of Class 1 and 2 should not exceed 1.5 kg, for Class 3 to 5, not more than 3 kg, for 6 to 8 around 4, for Class 9 and 10 4.5 to 5 kg but not more than 5 kg. Mumbai- Ahmedabad bullet train fare to be around Rs 3000: NHSRCL official

The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHRCL) official informed the media that the fare of Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train would be around Rs 3,000. As per media reports, the train will do 70 trips, 35 each side in a day between 6 am to 12 am. Achal Khare, managing director of NHRCL said that their land requirement of the entire project is 1,380 hectares which include private, governments, forest and railway land in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar has stated, "The verdict of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) was in our favour. We'll keep trying that the judgement is fully implemented. We would like to remain in touch with the Pakistani side through diplomatic channels".
