HRD Ministry agrees to reduce JNU fees, asks to call off strike

A day after, HRD ministry announced that students do not have to pay utility and services charges, the ministry declared that they have agreed to revise fees. The ministry appealed students to call off their strike and re-join classes. Meanwhile, the ministry did not respond to other demands of students like the removal of university V-C Jagadesh Kumar. Vice President Naidu calls for efforts to make India 100% literate

Deepika chooses to be with anti-nationals, says Smriti Irani slams her JNU visit

At an event, when Union Minister Smriti Irani was asked about Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s JNU visit, Irani slammed Deepika for it. She accused that Deepika is political affiliated with Congress and stood with people who want the destruction of India, the one who hit girls on their private parts with lathis. Smriti further said that it would be irresponsible of her to talk on details of the JNU incident.
