BSF Battalion seizes 889 kg of Ganja, destroys 4500 mature Ganja plants in Tripura

The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized 889 kg of dry ganja worth INR 44.45 lakh in an operation in inner parts of the district in Tripura's Sepahijala District. The BSF and SDFO Sonamura and Forest Protection Unit, working on the basis of a clear tip-off, jointly destroyed 4,500 mature ganja plants weighing about 2,500 kg worth around INR 1.12 Cr by spot cutting and burning. loudspeakers will be banned from 3 Days before exams, says WB Pollution Control Board

The West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) on Saturday has taken an initiative to help the students study and banned the use of loudspeakers in residential areas and around schools in view of secondary and higher secondary examinations in the state. As per the media reports, the secondary (Madhyamik) examination will be held from February 18 to 27, while the higher secondary (Uchha Madhyamik) examination from March 12 to 27. Groom in Telangana collapses & dies during wedding procession due to loud music

The incident took place in the Nizamabad district of Telangana where a 25-year-old youth died during his wedding procession after he started feeling uncomfortable with the high decibel of the DJ music at his baraat.
