Earlier there was news about Delhi Traffic Police withdrawing more than 1.4 lakh challans for speeding on National Highway 24, now it will be cancelled. According to a media report, Delhi traffic police stated that they had installed cameras that will catch vehicles speeding over 60 km/hour on the stretch. But multiple signboards on the stretch stated the maximum speed limit to be 70 km/hour. These boards violated the current norms of speeding. The traffic police have issued a notice to the Public Work Department(PWD) officials to change the boards.
