42-year-old businessman in Gujarat commits suicide during quarantine

In Palanpur district of Gujarat, a 42-year-old man identified as Vinodbhai Purushottambhai Chaurasia has committed suicide. He was put in quarantine on March 20. According to police, his quarantine period ended on Friday and the coronavirus test reports were negative as well. 500 MBBS students trained to treat coronavirus in Odisha

The Odisha govt has set up three special COVID hospitals and is training 500 MBBS students to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. As many as 500 MBBS students have been given COVID-19 online training as approved by Government of India. The authorities informed that some paramedics students like nurses have been kept in reserve to deal with the impending crisis due to sudden increase in COVID-19 cases. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has directed official to impose National Security Act on 6 quarantined members of Tablighi who not only abided to maintain social distance but misbehaved with nurses in Ghaziabad. In Madhya Pradesh 4 of 7 who attacked medical staff have been slapped with NSA. The NSA is a stringent law under which a person can be made to remain in detention without explanation for 12 months. Punjab: Two police officers help woman deliver baby after 3 hospital refuses to let her in

30-year-old pregnant woman after being denied medical facilities by private and govt hospital in Punjab's Dharmakot, was helped by two patrolling officers who were on their duty. Jyoti riding pillion with her husband was struggling with to find hospital for three hours, three medical facilities did not not assisted her due to coronavirus patients in their hospital. Later, two police officer checked them on the check post and saw lady in the pain. They arranged for local nurse, wooden bench and woman from neighbourhood to help Jyoti to deliver a healthy baby.
