Deepika's silent protest against JNU violence inspires us all, says Raghuram Rajan

Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan, in a blog on Linkedin, backed Deepika Padukone and stated that her silent protest against JNU violence showed that for certain people, truth, freedom, and justice aren't simply words, but goals worth sacrificing for. Rajan further said despite putting participation at her most recent movie 'Chhapaak' in danger, Padukone inspired us all to check out what is truly at stake. He added that it is very impressive to see youngsters of differing religions walk together, Hindus and Muslims coming together behind the national flag, rejecting fake divides fed by political leaders for their own gain.
