A woman identified as Chitikala Bhavani in Andhra Pradesh walked a distance of 60 kilometres to marry her boyfriend Sai Punnayya, who lived near her village. Bhavani and Punnaya, who have been together for four years and their parents were not happy with them. However, when everything was ready to set their plan in motion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced lockdown for 21 days amid the coronavirus outbreak. Centre: We need 1 crore HCQ tablets in immediate future, we have 3.28 crore tablets

Health Ministry on Friday said that Hydroxychloroquine need for India in the immediate future is nearly 1 crore tablets amid the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the country. "I would like to update that even after exporting, we have a reserve supply of 3.28 crore tablets for our immediate need," it further said. WhatsApp number to report domestic violence launched by NCW amid lockdown

The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Friday launched the WhatsApp number 7217735372 for reporting domestic violence amid coronavirus lockdown. The number has been launched only for the duration of the lockdown till NCW's normal office resumes, it said. Entire UP will be under lockdown till March 27, says CM YogiAdityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during addressing media declared that entire UP will be under lockdown till March 27. Earlier, only 15 district of the state was under lockdown. CM also ordered to sealed all borders near the state. Operation of all flights, buses, metro rails and trains to be stopped, he added.
