Mumbai: Mumbai Police finds stolen money of a professor lost at local train after 20 years

An unusual incident occurred when a Colaba resident of Mumbai and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR)Professor who is identified as Sudipta Meti got back his stolen money which was stolen in Mumbai local train 20 years ago. According to media reports, when Thane police called him to inform that his money had been found, Meti initially thought its a prank and then later believed when Police Naik M Birajdar reached Meti’s doorstep with a cheque of Rs 2,000 bearing his name. Social inequality existed 4000 year ago in European households: Study

Recent research in Central Europe suggested that social inequality existed among farmers even in the Bronze age which dates back around 4000 years. Ancient objects placed in graves and chemical analysis of teeth of farming households in Germany’s Leech valley suggested that wealthy individuals related biologically lived in the ghetto. The research suggested that foreign women married to wealthy male-run households who passed on their wealth to children & grandchildren. Uttar Pradesh: 7 Vaishno Devi pilgrims killed after bus ran over them

A horrible incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr where seven Vaishno Devi pilgrims who were sleeping on the pavement were killed when a speeding bus ran over them. According to media reports, seven dead people including four women and three minor girls were returning to Hathras Janpad from Vaishno Devi when the incident occurred. The police stated that all seven died on the spot and the bodies have been sent for post mortem and the investigation has started.
