IndiGo flight from Chennai to Hyderabad suffers engine problem, withdrawn from service

IndiGo flight 6E-6215 Prat & Whitney (P&W) fitted Neo aircraft, heading from Chennai to Hyderabad, suffered an engine problem and has been withdrawn from service for necessary maintenance. As per the airlines, the pilot reported vibration on the engine during flight and landed safely in Hyderabad. Earlier in October, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued instructions to IndiGo to ensure that it doesn't operate any Neo plane which has two P&W 1100 series engines that have been used for more than 3,000 hours each. J&K: Skill development centre opened for specially-abled persons

In Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, a Skill Development Centre for specially-abled people has been inaugurated to enhance employment opportunities among persons with disabilities. District Development Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz expressed that the motive is to train the differently-abled people and to get their placements so that they are not seen as a burden but as active bread earners. Abhishek Verma, Vennam Jyothi wins mixed pair gold in Asian Archery Championship

Archer Vennam Jyothi Surekha from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Arjuna awardee Abhishek Verma from Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada district have won compound mixed pair gold in the 21st Asian Archery Championship in Bangkok. The duo won gold against their Chinese Taipei rivals YiHsuan Chen and Chieh-Luh Chen with 158-151. Earlier in the day, the team lost a gold medal with just one point to Korea 232-233 and won a silver medal. But Verma and Jyothi returned strongly in the compound mixed pair final.
