IndiGo flight from Chennai to Hyderabad suffers engine problem, withdrawn from service
IndiGo flight 6E-6215 Prat & Whitney (P&W) fitted Neo aircraft, heading from Chennai to Hyderabad, suffered an engine problem and has been withdrawn from service for necessary maintenance. As per the airlines, the pilot reported vibration on the engine during flight and landed safely in Hyderabad. Earlier in October, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued instructions to IndiGo to ensure that it doesn't operate any Neo plane which has two P&W 1100 series engines that have been used for more than 3,000 hours each.
