Nitish Kumar says special buses for migrants will defeat purpose

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently stated that arranging special buses to send people to their native states amid a three-week nationwide lockdown over coronavirus or COVID-19 will lead to an "increase in the spread" of the virus. He added that it is better to organise camps locally, instead of trying to send people back home. Assam man was beaten and thrown out of train in Andhra Pradesh over Coronaviurs scare

Another person from North-East face racism. On March 20, an incident took place in Andhra Pradesh where a 32-year-old man from Assam identified as Mepal Basumatary was beaten and thrown out of the train while travelling from Bengaluru to his native place. During his journey, a miscreant beat him up and threw him out of the train because he had the fear that Mepal may have Coronavirus. Chandigarh people can avail door-to-door Atm service amid COVID-19 lockdown

Chandigarh administration made easy for people of the state during the nationwide lockdown by providing ATM on Wheels that goes door-to-door. The ATMs installed in a van have served close to 200 people in the last two days across the city. BJP President JP Nadda on his Twitter handle today announced that all party MPs will release INR 1cr from their annual development fund to the central relief fund to fight coronavirus pandemic. In the tweet, Nadda said that all MPs & MLAs of Bharatiya Janata Party will donate their one month remuneration/salary to the central relief fund to support the fight against Covid19.
